
National Law University Delhi is all set to conduct a five-day course titled 'Insolvency Practicum' from December 9 to December 23, 2022.
Centre For Transnational Commercial Law at National Law University Delhi is all set to organise 'Insolvency Practicum' course under the aegis of the National Academy of Law Teachers (NALT) and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) from December 9 to December 23, 2022.
The trainers/ resource persons will include officials from regulatory authorities, leading insolvency lawyers, insolvency professionals, academics, and experts from financial organisations. The course is designed for government officials, academicians, insolvency professionals, lawyers, CS, CA, in-house counsel, Management Accountants, professionals and managerial personnel managing businesses.
The fee for Industry/Corporates/ Insolvency Professionals (Non-Residential) is INR 25,000, for Academics/ Government Officials (Non-Residential), it is INR 15,000. The fee for Academics/ Government Officials (Residential) is INR 30,000. Limited accommodation is available on campus for academic participants only on a first come basis.
The course will teach the fundamental concepts of insolvency, corporate rescue; development of insolvency law in India, chief features and objectives of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016; adjudicatory bodies and appeals; key issues and cases under IBC 2016; institutional framework and enforcement bodies under IBC 2016, The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process, the committee of creditors, Information Memorandum, Resolution Plan, liquidation process; cross-border insolvency, said NLUD statement.
NLUD to release AILET 2023 Admit Card on November 25
While the registration for NLUD's AILET 2023 is closed now, the admit card is expected to be released by November 25. The exam will be conducted on December 11 for admission to BA LLB, one-year LLM and PhD programmes at NLUD.
Other than admit card, the candidates need to go to the exam centre with valid ID proof (Aadhar card, voter ID card, or passport), a black or blue point pen, a face mask, and a transparent water bottle.
