Utkal University Law College moot court competition registration is ongoing till September 22, 2025. Interested candidates can enrol for the third Vishwanath Pasayat Memorial Moot Court Competition 2025, scheduled to be held on October 7 to 9, 2025.
Utkal University's University Law College will organise the third Vishwanath Pasayat Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2025 from October 7 to 9, 2025. The moot court competition aims to increase the adjuricatory skills of the students by participating in moot court issues. Students who are willing to participate must register for the Utkal University moot court competition. The enrolment window of the ULC Utkal University moot court competition is ongoing till September 22, 2025. The Utkal University moot court competition will be conducted for three days, and only eligible candidates will be able to participate.
The registration form for the Utkal University moot court competition is available at the university website (Google form). Only the first two teams will be eligible to participate in the moot court competition.
Eligibility Criteria
The Utkal University moot court competition is open for students who are studying in the integrated BA LLB/ BBA LLB/ BSc LLB programme. However, students in the three-year LLB programme at any university approved by the Bar Council of India or UGC are also eligible to appear for the moot court competition.
The moot court competition will be conducted at the University Law College, Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. Students willing to participate must know that each team must have a minimum of two and a maximum of three members in the team. The three-member team shall have two orators and one researcher.

Go through the eligibility criteria thoroughly and check whether you’re eligible for admission or not. In order to be eligible, a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (55% for BE/BTech degree holders) is required. If you fulfil eligibility conditions, fill out the application form online (utkaluniversity.ac.in). After form submission, admit card will be issued. Take the Utkal University Entrance Test and secure good marks. Further, a seat is allotted on the basis of academic records, career records, and performance in the entrance examination.
You can get admission to Utkal University for BCA. For this, you have to secure good marks in Class 12. Then, after the declaration of the result, you need to register on the official website. After registration, you need to fill out the application form, choose the desired college, and pay the required fee. Thereafter, a first selection list comes on the website, and you need to take a hard copy and get admission to the college according to the selection list. If the college doesn't meet your expectations, one can wait for the 2nd and 3rd selection lists and also go for the spot admission process at the end.
