Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department to conduct COVID-19 vaccination camp on August 25-26 for students, staff
The first dose of vaccination will be administered by the state government on August 25 and those who have already received the first dose, the second dose of vaccination will be administered on August 25-26, 2021.
Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department has announced that it will be conducting a COVID-19 vaccination campaign for students and staff (including all academic and non-academic staff) The campaign will be held on August 25 and 26. Those who have not got vaccinated yet can check the official notice by the Department of Higher Education, MP on highereducation.mp.gov.in.
MP Higher Education Department in its official notice said that this step of the COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign has been taken on the directives given by the Chief Minister of the state. The decision was taken during a review meeting held by Shivraj Singh Chouhan on August 21. The work of vaccinating citizens in the age group of 45+ and 18+ is already underway in the first phase and the second phase respectively.
With an aim to increase the vaccination numbers for the safety of all students and staff on account of reopening of educational institutions in the state, MP Higher Education Department has taken this step of COVID-19 Vaccination Program. According to the official notice on COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign, "The first dose of vaccination will be administered by the state government on August 25 and those who have already received the first dose, the second dose of vaccination will be administered on August 25-26, 2021."
The State Government has directed all the students including administrative/academic/non-academic staff of the university/college to ensure that they get vaccination done through various mediums. The state has been focusing on increasing vaccination numbers among its people.
