XIC OET 2022 registration dates announced, check details here

XIC OET 2022 schedule has been released by the Xavier Institute of Communications. The registration process for exam will start from April 1, 2022 and the last date to register is April 25, 2022. The XIC OET will be conducted on April 29, April 30, May 2, May 3, May 6 and May 7, 2022.  The candidates can select the XIC OET date and exam centre at the time of registration. XIC OET 2022 admit card will be sent to candidates prior to the exam. Candidates can fill the application forms by logging on to the official website of Xavier Institute of Communications. The application fee for the exam is INR 3,500. Candidates who are willing to apply for Advanced Integrated Communication Programme (AICP) had to pay application fee of INR 2,500.

XIC OET is conducted to give admission to Mass Communication programmes offered by Xavier Institute of Communications. The exam will be of 90 minutes during which candidates have to solve objective and subjective questions. Objective section of the exam will consist of questions based on Language Skills, General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media, Logical and Analytical skills. Whereas subjective section will consist of 3 questions which could be media related in order to assess creativity, social values, writing skills, etc. Some questions will also be related to the course a candidate is applying for. The password and login details will be emailed to candidates 10 minutes prior to the test. Candidates will have to login and start the test immediately on receiving the login information.

XIC OET Exam 2022: List of Important Exam Events

Candidates can go through important exam events related to XIC OET 2022 exam below. 

Application Form: Before filling out and submitting the application form, candidates should make sure they meet the qualifying requirements. The registration process will be done in online mode only. As part of the registration process, candidates have to provide their Statement of Purpose (SOP). If they qualify for the Personal Interview stage, it could be brought up for discussion. Hence, candidates are advised to give sufficient thought while putting their SOP together.

Admit Card: Admit card will be sent to candidates later on the E-mail ID mentioned in their registration form. If a candidate do not receive the admit card after the registration procedure they are advised to check their Junk/Spam Email Folders. Candidates are advised to preserve their admit card carefully. Only this document will be accepted in all further transactions between them and XIC.

XIC OET 2022 Entrance Exam: In view of the prevailing situation caused by the Covid 19 Virus and keeping in mind candidates travel and safety issues, the management has decided to opt for conducting the OET from home (from wherever a candidate is located).

Personal Interview: Candidates qualifying the OET will have to appear for personal interview at Delhi or Mumbai centre. The personal interview at Delhi centre will be conducted on May 20, May 21 & May 22, 2022 and at Mumbai centre on May 27, May 28 & May 29, 2022.

Results: After the second round (Personal interview) is conducted, a final list of successful candidates will be released by the institute where candidates who have cleared the final round will be called for admission at the Xavier Institute of Communications. The final results will be released by the university on June 1, 2022 (at approx 4 pm).

Release of Wait List: A waiting list of candidates will also be declared on June 14, 2022 (at approx 4 pm).
