Students should start preparing for XET at least four months before exams. It takes time to prepare for XIC entrance test. So, students are advised to start with syllabus early. Also, they are advised to focus on current events for General Awareness section and solving reasoning questions quickly to save time.
The Xavier's Institute of Communication has announced the exam dates for XIC OET 2026 exams. The XIC online test will held on 12th, 18th and 19th April 2026. The Zoom interview of selected candidates will be conducted from 24 April to 26 April 2026.

XIC Entrance Test (XET) Eligibility Criteria 2026
To be eligible for admission to Xavier Institute of Communications, a candidate must be of:
- 35 years or below in age.
- completed 3 years of Graduation (12+3 years) in a university-approved stream in India, including Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers, BMM, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.
OR - appearing for the last semester or Third-year Graduation in the present academic year.
If a candidate is appearing for the last semester or third year graduation in the current academic session and gets selected for the XET course, he/she will get the PG Diploma certificate only if the candidate has completed the graduation and submitted the relevant attested Final mark-sheet of their graduation.
