Bihar government has announced Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme (CMFS) in partnership with IIM Bodh Gaya. Under this state government is offering young professionals an opportunity to work with Bihar administration on governance and development initiatives.
Under this selected fellows will be placed in various state govt departments for a period of two years. During fellowship, participants will work on policy planning, programme implementation and development related projects at departmental level.
This scheme also includes academic support from IIM Bodh Gaya, with fellows receiving classroom inputs, training modules and mentorship from the institute’s faculty members. On completion of programme, candidates will be awarded postgraduate certificate in Public Policy and Governance.
One of the highlights of Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme is monthly stipend, which will range between ₹80,000 and ₹1,50,000, depending on assignment and role of fellow.
