Candidates preparing for the CAT 2025 exam can apply for it from today onwards. The CAT 2025 registration window is open at the iimcat.ac.in website. The CAT 2025 application window will remain open till September 13, 2025. Candidates need to fill the form and pay the exam fee at before the last date. The CAT exam fee this year too, has been increased by INR 100 for General/EWS/NC-OBC candidates and by INR 50 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

CAT 2025 exam will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode on November 30, 2025 in over 170 cities across India. The exam will be conducted in three sessions. The minimum eligibility criteria for CAT is graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Final year students or those awaiting their result, can also apply. General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% in graduation and SC/ST/PwD candidates must have scored a minimum of 45 %.

How to Apply for CAT 2025?

CAT 2025 application process has been described below, step wise. To register for the exam, follow the below given process:

• Open iimcat.ac.in website in a browser
• Click on ‘new registration’ option
• Enter name, DOB, phone number, email ID and other details
• Verify registration with OTP received in email
• CAT 2025 application form will open
• Enter personal and academic details
• Upload photo and signature in prescribed format
• Select 5 cities for test centre allotment
• Select preferred IIMs and course
• Review form and confirm submission
• Pay exam fee to complete the process

CAT 2025 Exam Fees

Candidates must note that the CAT 2025 application process is a one time activity. They can register once and fill the form and pay the fee later. However, all these activities are to be done before the last date of form submission. Post the closure of CAT 2025 registration window, the examination body will start form correction process.
