Yes, it is necessary to preserve CMAT admit card even after the exam as it may be required at the time of admission process.

CMAT 2026 question paper will be divided into 5 sections:

CMAT 2026 exam will have 100 questions. Each question will carry 4 marks and there will be negative marking of -1 for incorrect attempt. Total marks is 400.

CMAT 2026 exam time duration is 3 hours. There will be no sectional time limit in the exam and there will be no breaks either.

The following items will be prohibited at the CMAT exam centre 2026:

• Geometry or pencil box
• Handbag
• Purse
• Stationary
• Eatables
• Water
• Mobile phone
• Earphone
• Microphone
• Pager
• Calculator

Candidates can carry any one of the following Photo IDs on exam day:

• School Identity Card
• PAN card
• Passport
• Aadhaar Card (With photograph)
• E-Aadhaar with photograph
• Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph
• Bank Passbook with Photograph

Digital copy of CMAT admit card 2026 will not be considered as a valid document. Candidates will need to carry the print out of hall ticket in A4 size sheet.

CMAT 2026 admit card download link is now active. Candidates can download their admit card and self declaration from CMAT-NTA website until the exam day.

After downloading the CMAT hall ticket, candidates must check the following details for errors:

• Name, category, gender and date of birth should be correct
• Photo and signature should be clear
• Exam date, timings and centre details should be correct

CMAT 2026 admit card download last date is January 25, 2026. After the exam day, the admit card will not be available for download. Thus, candidates must keep their CMAT admit card safely until admissions are done.

Candidates should carry two copies of CMAT 2026 admit card to the examination centre. Paste a recent passport size photo on each copy and carry one photo for pasting int he attendance sheet. 

A self declaration form will be attached with the CMAT 2026 admit card. Candidates must ensure they print both admit card and self declaration. Fill the details asked in self declaration before reaching the exam day. 

Candidates will have to carry the following documents on CMAT 2026 exam day:

No change has been introduced in the CMAT exam this year. The exam will be conducted as per the previous year's pattern. There will be 100 MCQs from English, Quants, Reasoning, GK and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The duration will be 180 minutes.

CMAT 2026 exam will be conducted in two shifts. Candidates will have to report 2 hours before their exam slot timing. Gates will close 30 minutes before commencement of the exam.

CMAT 2026 exam will be held in 2 sessions. The exam timings are:

• Shift 1: 9 am to 12 pm
• Shift 2: 3 pm to 6 pm
