NTA will conducted Common Management Admission Test or CMAT 2026 tomorrow across India. Nearly 75000 candidates are expected to appear for the exam at various test centres in over 120 cities. The CMAT 2026 admit card was released on January 21 and is available for download. Candidates who have not downloaded it yet, should do so now and check test centre location.

CMAT 2026 exam is expected to be of moderate difficulty level. No change has been announced in the exam pattern. There will be 100 questions in MCQ format. Candidates must aim to solve about 75 questions with maximum accuracy to get a good score.

CMAT Exam Timings 2026

Reporting time for candidates is 2 hours before the CMAT 2026 exam for identification process. Gates will close at 8:30 am. Candidates must reach their CMAT test centres before that:

CMAT 2026: Documents to Carry

For candidate identification, certain documents will be required on the exam day. Check the list below for the CMAT documents for tomorrow.

  • 2 copies of CMAT 2026 admit card in A4 size sheet
  • 1 passport size photo to paste on attendance sheet

Candidates can carry any one of the following Photo IDs on exam day:

  • School Identity Card
  • PAN card
  • Passport
  • Aadhaar Card (With photograph)
  • E-Aadhaar with photograph
  • Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph
  • Bank Passbook with Photograph

PwD candidates have to carry PwD certificate and Scribe certificate attested by a competent authority.

Those who have changed their name due to marriage, etc. need to carry name change/marriage certificate or an affidavit attested by a competent authority.

    The following items will not be allowed inside the CMAT 2026 exam centre:

    • Books, notebooks or any stationary item other than 1 ball point pen
    • Any type of electronic items including phone, watch, earphone, Bluetooth device
    • Any type of metal item or accessories
    • Bags and wallets

    CMAT Exam 2026 Dress Code

    Candidates must wear simple sweater or cardigan. They should avoid big jackets and hoodies. Metal accessories, hats/caps and googles will be not allowed inside the exam venue.

  • Q:   Do I need to preserve CMAT city intimation slip after exam?
    A:

    CMAT city intimation slip is essentially an indicator of your test city. The actual document of identification is the CMAT admit card which needs to be preserved until the admission process is over. Candidates may not preserve the CMAT city intimation slip after the exam.

    Q:   What are important don'ts for CMAT exam day?
    A:
    1. Do not carry prohibited items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices.
    2. Don't wear jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms and closed shoes. Socks are allowed inside it. 
    3. Don't wear goggles, caps & head gears, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets 
    4. Don't be late for the exam. The entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam. So, reach the exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the CMAT admit card.
    5. Don't cheat or indulge in mal practices. You will be disqualified if caught indulging in any such ACT.
    6. Don't create a ruckus inside the test lab or disturb other candidates
    7. Don't leave your seat until the exam duration gets over and the invigilator announces exit.
