NTA will announce CMAT 2027 registration dates very soon. Candidates who wish to appear for the national level MBA entrance exam scheduled on February 7, 2027 must fill the online application form as soon as it is released.
The CMAT registration cum application form 2027 will be available at the CMAT-NTA website. To fill the form, candidates will have to create a login ID. CMAT 2027 will be conducted in 124 cities of India and candidates will get the option to choose 4 cities for test centre allotment. The examination body will strive to allot the test centre to every candidate in the first city of preference. CMAT exam fee is INR 2500 for male candidates belonging to General category and INR 1250 for male candidates belonging to Reserved categories. For women and transgender applicants too the CMAT form fees is INR 1250.
CMAT Eligibility Criteria
CMAT eligibility criteria is same as other MBA entrance exams. The academic requirement is as follows:
- Graduation or an equivalent degree from a recognized university
- Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for the exam
- There is np minimum score requirement for CMAT. Candidates with passing marks can apply

CMAT 2027 Registration: How to Apply?
CMAT registration 2027 form will be available at the NTA website. To fill the application form, candidates will have to follow the steps given below:
- Visit the CMAT-NTA website
- Click on 'new candidate registration’ option on the homepage
- Enter name, nationality, phone number and email id to create a login ID
- An OPT will be shared in email. Use it to validate registration
- Go to CMAT application form 2027 in the dashboard
- Enter personal and academic details (class 10, 12 and Graduation scores)
- Upload a recent passport size photo and scanned signature
- Select 4 test cities for centre allotment
- Pay CMAT examination fees and complete the process

NTA has not made any announcement yet but CMAT 2027 registration may begin anytime soon. Last year, the CMAT registration window opened on October 17, 2025.

CMAT 2027 Registration: Number of test cities to select
Candidates can select upto 4 cities in the CMAT applicatio form 2027, for test centre allotment. They are advised to select the first city as their first preference to have higher chnaces of getting a centre in that city.

Who can apply for CMAT exam 2027?
Any individual who is a graduate from a recognized university or has an equivalent degree can apply for CMAT exam. Those in final year too are eligible to apply.

Commonly asked questions
No, the CMAT registration fees is non-refundable. If they do not appear for the exam they cannot claim refund for the application form. Since, it is mentioned in the exam information brochure that the fee is non-refundable, no requests for refund are entertained by the NTA.
There is no minimum marks criterion for appearing in CMAT exam. Any candidate who has passed a Bachelor's degree programme from a recognised university can apply. However, there is a minimum score requirement at CMAT accepting colleges for admission. All the UGC and AICTE approved institutions have the minimum score requirement of 45 per cent in aggregate in graduation for candidates for SC/ST candidates.
Yes, candidates will need to have a valid Aadhaar number to register for CMAT exam. Until last year, candidates could use other photo IDs too to register for the exam.
