The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has launched a two-year non-residential MBA in Business Analytics programme starting from the 2023-25 academic year at its Delhi campus. The institute has offered a total of 60 seats up for enrollment in the programme. The release of the information brochure and commencement of the registration process is likely by the second week of December 2022 on the official website, i.e. iift.ac.in.
An official statement released by the institute states, “The programme will provide a synergy to the existing MBA programme in international business as students from both streams will benefit from a vast pool of courses that will be offered. Both the MBA programmes will stand independently and mutually benefit each other.”
IIFT Admissions 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or 5 CGPA out of 10. The student should have mathematics/ statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. OR
Candidates must hold BTech / BE degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate or 5 CGPA out of 10. OR
The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or 5 CGPA out of 10, with mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level. Applied mathematics in 10+2 will not be considered.
IIFT Admissions 2023: Selection process
MBA (IB) entrance examination scores will be considered for shortlisting/selecting the candidates. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the entrance exam on December 18, 2022. Candidates having valid GMAT Score are also eligible. The institute will offer admission based on the score obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination or GMAT score, performance in extempore and personal interview, academic performance in Class 10 and 12 and work experience. The institute will also give some weightage to female candidates to bring in gender diversity in the programme.
