IIM Ahmedabad completes Cluster-1 of Summer Placements 2025-26; top offers from Accenture, BCG, McKinsey

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has completed the first cluster of summer placements for the PGP Class of 2027, held on October 28, 2025. Recruiters in Cluster-1 represented six cohorts, Management Consulting, Transformation & Operations Consulting, Advisory Consulting, Cards & Financial Advisory, Investment Banking & Markets, and PE/VC, Asset Management & Hedge Funds.

The process was conducted in hybrid mode, with participation from companies both online and on campus. More than 80 roles were offered during the drive. The leading recruiters in this cluster were Accenture Strategy (India Market Unit & Global Network), Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, and Kearney.

Among consulting firms, regular participants such as Alvarez & Marsal, EY-Parthenon, Kepler Cannon, L.E.K. Consulting, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Strategy&, Vector Consulting Group, and YCP Auctus also made offers.

In the Investment Banking & Markets cohort, Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered Bank hired in large numbers. Other firms in this space included Avendus Capital, Bank of America, Barclays, Citibank, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley.

The Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Asset Management cohort saw participation from Ares Management, Blackstone Group, Faering Capital, Gaja Capital, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Piramal Alternatives, and Premji Invest.

In the Cards & Financial Advisory segment, American Express was among the top recruiters, along with Cranmore Partners and Synergy Consulting.

The cluster also included international offers from Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong/Singapore), HSBC (Hong Kong), and Strategy& (Middle East).

The next rounds of placements — Cluster-2 and Cluster-3, will take place on October 31 and November 3, 2025, respectively.
