JBIMS Mumbai first choice of MAH MBA CET qualifiers: Shiksha Poll

MAH MBA CAP 2025 round is underway and over a lakh students are hoping to get admission to MBA/MMS Course in the best colleges of Maharashtra. Shiksha conducted a poll to know the most preferred college for MAH CET qualifiers. Check below the responses. 

MAH MBA CET CAP 2025 round underway

MAH MBA CET 2025 counselling process or the CAP round is underway. Over 1 lakh Maharashtra candidates are applying for the college of their choice in the MAH MBA CAP 2025 round. Many aspirants from outside the state are also applying under the All India category.

Some of the top B-Schools of the state participate in the MBA CAP round every year for selecting candidates. The selection of candidates is based on their MAH CET exam score and the cut off scores of the college of their choice. Shiksha conducted an online poll to know out of the 300 plus MBA colleges, which are the preferred options. Typically, JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, NL Dalmia and KJ Somaiya are considered to be the top colleges for MBA through MAH CET. These colleges hold a good repute in placements and have high MAH CET cut offs.

In the poll conducted by Shiksha, these 5 colleges were listed as popular choices and the respondents gave their verdict. As expected JBIMS was the preferred choice among over 650 respondents. Check below:

Which college are you targeting with MAH MBA CET 2025 score?

JBIMS Mumbai is the first choice among all. It garnered 41% votes. PUMBA is preferred by 28% respondents whereas KJ Somaiya is preferred by 16% respondents. 11% respondents said, they were targeting SIMSREE. NL Dalmia is a preferred choice of 5% respondents.

MAH MBA CET 2025 Cut Offs

Today is the last date to register for MAH MBA CAP 2025 round and the first provisional merit list will be released on July 15, 2025. Check below the expected MAH CET cut offs for the above five MBA colleges.

• JBIMS cut off: 99
• SIMSREE cut off: 97
• PUMBA cut off: 91
• NL Dalmia cut off: 98.00
• KJ Somaiya cut off: 98.00

Once the provisional merit list is release candidates have to check their candidature and accept the seat. Those who shall be alloted a seat in the college of their choice as mentioned in the CAP form will automatically be confirmed. Those who don't get a seat in their preferred college will have to accept or wait for the Round 2 list by choosing 'freeze' option. The final merit list will be displayed on July 21, 2025. Those selected, will have to complete the admission process at the college in which they have been allotte MBA seat.
