Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released Karnataka PGCET round 3 counselling details. Candidates will find the Karnataka PGCET round 3 seat matrix on November 4 after 11 AM. Along with the release of seat matrix, KEA will start the Karnataka PGCET final round option entry process. Last date to complete the Karnataka PGCET option entry process is November 6. Candidates will find the Karnataka PGCET third seat allotment results (provisional) on November 7. Karnataka PGCET round 3 final seat allotment will be released on November 8.

KEA has set the last date to report at the allotted colleges as November 13.

Karnataka PGCET Round 3 Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who did not get any seat in the first or second round of Karnataka PGCET counselling are eligible for the third round of counselling process. However, candidates participating in the third round counselling are required to pay INR 25,000 as the caution deposit. Karnataka PGCET caution deposit is payable from November 4 to 6, until 6 PM.

Caution deposit paiud by the candidate will be adjusted against the fee to be paid by the selected candidates. Caution deposit will be forfeited in case a candidate fails to report at the allotted college or fails to pay the fee after allotment. 

Cancellation of Seats from Previous Rounds of PGCET Counselling

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in any of the previous round of Karnataka PGCET counselling can cancel their allotment in person at KEA office on or before November 6. Such candidates will get a refund of the fee paid with a deduction of INR 10,000.

Karnataka Examinations Authority is responsible for conducting the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) in the state of Karnataka. The participating institutes in PGCET Karnataka offer seats to qualified candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam. KEA allocates these seats in two allotment rounds. However, before the real allotment round starts, KEA releases a mock seat allotment result for all the candidates who completed the option entry process. This mock allotment helps candidates to understand the process and the seat allocation system.
