KEA conducts the Karnataka PGCET mock allotment round as an indicative exercise to familiarise candidates with the process to check results, and cutoffs. Admissions based on PGCET ranks will be done as per the first and second round allotment results.

After the mock results were declared, candidates have been facilitated with a window to edit the priority of options. The option edit window helps candidates to add or remove any course-college options. Additionally, candidates are also allowed to change the priority of the options. As per the Karnataka PGCET counselling dates, candidates can make changes in the exercised options until October 3 (11 AM). Based on the final options exercised, KEA will publish first round of Karnataka PGCET provisional seat allotment results after 5 PM on the same day. First round PGCET final allotment results will be declared on October 4.

Q: Β  Will KEA release Karnataka PGCET cutoff scores for admission?
A:

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) releases the Karnataka PGCET cutoff ranks or Karnataka PGCET last ranks along with the seat allotment results. Candidates can find the PDF file for Karnataka PGCET cutoff ranks available on the official website. The cutoff score depicts the last ranks at which the allotment process has been closed. Whereas the Karnataka PGCET seat allotment mentions allotment status of each candidate individually inside the login dashboard.

Q: Β  Am I eligible to apply for Karnataka PGCET MBA if I have less than 50 percent in my Bachelors degree?
A:

A candidate is not eligible to apply for the Karnataka PGCET MBA course if they have less than 50 per cent marks in their bachelor's degree. For reserved category candidates, the minimum requirement is 45 per cent. This percentage must be calculated based on all subjects from all the years of the degree. Without meeting this minimum mark requirement, the application will be rejected. So, it's important to check the final aggregate before applying.

Q: Β  Will KEA release Karnataka PGCET cutoffs along with the results?
A:

Karnataka Examinations Authority does not release the PGCET cutoff scores/ranks along with the declaration of the results. Candidates find the Karnataka PGCET cutoff ranks during the counselling process. KEA releases separate PDF files for Karnataka PGCET MBA and MCA cutoff along with the seat allotment details. The cutoff PDF mentions the last ranks at which the Karnataka PGCET participating college closed the allotment round.
