Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to begin the Karnataka PGCET option entry 2025 today, September 24. Candidates will soon find the link to exercise Karnataka PGCET 2025 options on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates who have downloaded the claim slip are eligible to participate in the Karnataka PGCET option entry process 2025. To participate in the Karnataka PGCET option entry process, candidates are required to pay a processing fee of INR 750. The last date to complete the Karnataka PGCET option entry process is set as September 28. KEA will release the Karnataka PGCET mock allotment results for all candidates who participate in the option entry process. Karnataka PGCET 2025 mock seat allotment results are scheduled to be declared on September 29.
Once the mock allotment results are declared, KEA facilitates candidates with a link to edit their options. This option edit window aids addition of new college-course options, deleting options, and reordering Karnataka PGCET options.

More than 35,000 seats are to be filled via Karnataka PGCET 2025 scores.
KEA is facilitating a common option entry window for all courses, including MBA, MCA and Engineering courses. Candidates have to add options under the desired discipline while choosing the colleges. Candidates are allowed to add as many options as possible. KEA will not provide any window for option entry in subsequent rounds of the Karnataka PGCET counselling process.

Note that the challan copy is a proof of the candidate’s candidature in Karnataka PGCET, hence it is an important document to retain. If the challan copy is lost, candidates must ensure that they have the challan number with them or anything that would be helpful in proving the candidature. Candidates can login to their candidate portal of Karnataka PGCET and check if the challan copy is a available for download.
The last resort is to contact the administration to inform them about the same. KEA will be able to provide the required resolution for the issue.
No, you cannot carry a calculator for the Karnataka PGCET exam. Besides canculators, candidates must not carry any of the below mentioned items to the exam centre:
- Mobile phones
- Pagers
- Smartwatches
- Pen-drive
- or any other electronic gadgets
Candidates found in possession of any of the above mentioned item will get their candidature disqualified from participating in the admission process. Candidates must only carry a hard copy of the Karnataka PGCET admit card on the exam day along with a valid photo ID proof. Failing this, applicants will face denial in entry to the exam hall.
