Karnataka PGCET Mock Seat Allotment Delayed

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Mock Seat Allotment Delayed

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has delayed the release of the Karnataka PGCET 2026 mock allotment, which was previously scheduled to be announced today, Sep 17. Karnataka PGCET mock allotment 2026 will not be released today because the Karnataka PGCET option entry deadline has been extended once again by the authority. KEA has not notified the new date for Karnataka PGCET mock allotment results. If PGCET option entry concludes tomorrow, Sep 18, mock seat allotment will be out tomorrow itself.

Why Is Karnataka PGCET Mock Allotment Delayed?

The Karnataka PGCET mock allotment delayed status is directly linked to the ongoing option entry phase of the Karnataka PGCET 2026 counselling. During the option entry window, candidates submit their preferred colleges and courses. The KEA uses these submitted preferences, alongside exam ranks and seat matrix parameters, to generate the mock results. Consequently, the mock seat allotment preparation can only begin after the option entry process officially closes.

The timeline for this phase has seen multiple revisions. The option entry deadline was initially set for September 15, then extended to September 17, and has now been further extended to September 18. Because candidates have been granted additional time to modify their choices, KEA cannot finalise the mock results today.

When Will Karnataka PGCET Mock Allotment Be Released?

The Karnataka PGCET 2026 mock seat allotment will not be published today since the option entry window remains open until September 18. KEA has not yet announced a confirmed release date for the revised mock results. Candidates should regularly check the official KEA website for the updated notification and revised schedule to know when the KEA PGCET mock allotment will finally be made live.

What Should Candidates Do Now?

Candidates who have not yet locked or finalised their college and course choices should utilise this extended option-entry window to review and update their preferences. Since these choices will form the basis of the upcoming mock allotment, candidates must ensure their preferences are correctly ordered before the September 18 deadline closes.
