Karnataka PGCET 2026 Mock Seat Allotment Soon
With the release of the provisional seat matrix, candidates can check the college wise seats available for admissions in the first round. The Karnataka PGCET 2026 mock allotment is expected soon. KEA has not yet notified a confirmed date for the mock allotment results. As per the KEA PGCET counselling schedule notified earlier, KEA should have released the mock allotment yesterday, Sep 17.
The mock seat allotment gives candidates an early indication of the college and course they are likely to secure based on their PGCET rank, entered preferences, and seat availability.

Karnataka Examinations Authority publishes the PGCET mock allotment status before commencement of the first seat allotment round. Candidates are not allotted seat based on the PGCET mock allotment results. However, the actual seat allotment round leads to allocation of seats in Karnataka PGCET participating colleges. Candidates get the facility to change their options after checking the mock allotment status. Mock allotment round is conducted familiarise candidates with the course and college allotted to them based on the ranks.
For every right answer, candidates will be awarded one mark in Karnataka PGCET exam while for the wrong answers, no marks will be deducted. Total marks of the Karnataka PGCET exam are 100. Candidates get 120 minutes to answer all the multiple-choice questions.
Candidates need to devote a minimum of two hours to practice the Karnataka PGCET exam paper daily without a any miss. This will help them in increasing the accuracy level to answer questions in less time with proficiency. The actual exam duration of the Karnataka PGCET exam is 150 minutes. However, candidates will have to answer all questions within 120 minutes. The remaining 30 minutes are required for frisking and mentioning the details on the answer booklet.
