MAH MBA CAP 2026 Seat Matrix Women’s Quota: What Happened?
The 30% reservation for women in the MBA CAP 2026 seat matrix without prior announcement had surprised many candidates. It led to confusion and discussions over how will the seats be allotted with additional reservation for another category. As per the quota, 30% seats across all Maharashtra colleges were reserved for women candidates (Open, OBC, SC, ST, MT and EWS). Seat allotment process is essentially based on merit, women candidate scoring high can compete in open category keeping the quota safe for other female candidates.
