NMAT 2026 Acceptable and Unacceptable Photo IDs

Test centres in India accept the following original, non-expired identification documents: Passport issued by the Government of India, PAN Card, Voter's ID Card, Driver's License, or UID/Aadhaar Card. The photo on the ID must be recent and clearly recognisable.

The following documents are strictly unacceptable:

Entry will be denied if staff cannot establish identity from the documents or if there is a name mismatch. Candidates without the valid admit card and acceptable original ID will forfeit their entry and exam fees. Candidates must arrive at the test centre at least 45 minutes prior to their scheduled exam appointment. Arriving just before the appointment is not permitted. Once identity verification and check-in procedures conclude, candidates are allocated their testing seats.
