PU MET 2026 exam date has been announced by the Panjab University. PU MET 2026 will be conducted on April 12, 2026, in the paper-based test mode. The registrations for the PU MET exam started on December 3, 2025, and the last date to submit the details online is March 28, 2026. How to Apply for PU MET 2026?
Follow the process below to apply for PU MET exam:
- Visit the PU MET website
- Click on the registration link or copy https://met.puchd.ac.in/registration.php
- Enter personal details such as candidate's name, father’s name, mother’s name, working mobile number, DOB, valid email ID, etc.
- Write down the application number, password and login ID
- Pay the application fee online using a Debit/Credit card or UPI facility or
- Download and print the SBI deposit slip and deposit the exam fee at any SBI branch minimum of one day after printing the bank slip

The PU MET application fee is different for different categories. The application fee for the General category students is INR 2,710 and the application fee for SC/ST/OBC categories is INR 1,355. Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI or offline through e-challan from the SBI bank branch.
Documents required are:
- Scanned recent coloured passport-size photograph
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Date of birth certificate
- Photo ID proof
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
