TANCET 2026 Exam on May 9; Registrations Begin on March 16
Anna University has released TANCET 2026 notification for MBA/MCA exam to be conducted at state level. TANCET 2026 exam for MBA and MCA courses is scheduled to be conducted on May 9. Anna University will conduct TANCET exam across 15 cities in Tamil Nadu.
Candidates aspiring for MBA admissions in Tamil Nadu will be allowed to fill TANCET application form 2026 starting March 16. The last date for TANCET 2026 registration is set as April 10. Candidates applying on or before the last date will be issued the TANCET hall ticket and marked eligible to appear for the entrance exam.
TANCET Registration Fee 2026
Anna University has set the TANCET registration fee with a concession for certain categories. Category-wise TANCET registration fee is as follows:
- TANCET application fee for SC/SCA/ST of Tamil Nadu: INR 500
- All other categories: INR 1,000
Candidates who wish to claim benefits under the reserved categories are required to submit the category certificate while filling the online application form.
Colleges Accepting TANCET 2026 Scores
TANCET exam is conducted for admission to:
- University Departments of Anna University
- Anna University Regional Campuses / Constituent Colleges
- Annamalai University
- Government & Government Aided Engineering Colleges
- Government & Government Aided Arts & Science Colleges
- Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges, including stand-alone Institutions) under Government Quota for admission through centralised Single-Window online counselling.
- All other Universities functioning under the state Act in Tamil Nadu and self-financing colleges (Engineering Colleges, Arts & Science Colleges, including stand-alone Institutions) may also consider TANCET scores for admission.
