TANCET 2026 exam date will be notified soon by the Anna University on the official exam website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates aiming for MBA and MCA admissions in Tamil Nadu will have to appear for TANCET exam as per the schedule. According to the past exam timeline, candidates can expect TANCET 2026 to be held in the month of March in an offline mode.
In the last exam session, Anna University released the TANCET notification on January 19. With the release of notification, Anna University notified the TANCET exam dates and registration schedule. TANCET application form in 2025 was facilitated from January 24 to February 28. The exam was scheduled to be conducted on March 22 in the last exam session. In 2024, TANCET exam was conducted on March 10. Candidates can expect the TANCET 2026 exam date to be in the similar lines.
Colleges offering MBA/MCA admissions via TANCET include
- University Departments of Anna University, Anna University Regional Campuses and University Colleges of Engineering.
- Annamalai University
- Government & Government-Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges.
- Self-financing Colleges (including stand-alone Institutions) under Government Quota and seats voluntarily surrendered by the Self financing Colleges in Tamil Nadu for admission through centralised online counselling.
Other Universities functioning under the state Act in Tamil Nadu and self-financing colleges may also opt to admit the candidates based on TANCET 2026.
Along with the TANCET exam notification, Anna University will release the CEETA PG exam date. Candidates aspiring for ME/MTech admissions in Tamil Nadu will have to appear for CEETA PG exam.
