Dr YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada will conduct the Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2026 for state-level MBBS and BDS admissions. Students who have qualified the NEET UG exam and are seeking admission to UG medical courses in Andhra Pradesh can apply for AP NEET counselling 2026 process. This state counselling will only be conducted for 85% of state quota MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses across the state.
Documents Required for AP NEET UG Counselling 2026
Students are required to keep the following documents ready to apply for NEET 2026 counselling Andhra Pradesh:
- NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
- NEET UG 2026 Rank Card / Scorecard
- Class 10 Mark Sheet or Birth Certificate (for age proof)
- Class 12 / Intermediate Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate
- Study Certificates (from Class 6 to Class 12 to prove local status)
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last school
- Aadhaar Card or any valid government-issued photo ID proof
- Recent passport-size photographs

When Will AP NEET UG 2026 Counselling Registration Begin?
The Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling 2026 process will tentatively begin in August. Last year, the AP NEET counselling registration window was opened for seven days. However, students were also allowed to apply for AP NEET counselling registration with late fee of INR 20,000.

The registration fee for Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling is INR 2,950 for General/OBC candidates and INR 2,360 for SC/ST candidates. The late registration fee amount for General/OBC/BC candidates is INR 22,950 and INR 22,360 for the reserved category candidates. Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling fee has to be paid online using Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. The registration fee amount has remained the same as last year.
Candidates cannot fill the Andhra Pradesh NEET application form offline. Only online registrations are invited for AP NEET counselling. Candidates need to visit drntr.uhsap.in website to register for the counselling process.
Qualifying for NEET is the primary eligibility criterion for participating in the Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling. In case a candidate does not secure the qualifying marks for NEET, as stated by NTA, then he or she will not be eligible to participate in the Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling process. NTA will send the list of qualifying candidates to the Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling authorities, based on which the merit list will be released. Candidates should also note that apart from NEET, no other entrance exam scores will be accepted for the Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling process.
The AP NEET counselling registration process is completely online. Students have to first apply for the counselling process. After that, NTRUHS will release the merit list highlighting the qualifying students. Qualified students will have to submit their preferred college and course, known as the choice filling process. Following this, the AP NEET 2026 merit list will be released, highlighting the names and details of candidates who have been allotted a seat.
