Assam NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 Dates Out

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, has released the dates for the Assam NEET 2025 counselling Round 1. The registration process will commence on July 24, 2025, and the last date of registration is July 29, 2025, 11.55 PM. The choice filling process will be conducted from July 30 to August 2, 2025. The seat allotment result will be declared on August 6, 2025.

DME Assam has released the Assam NEET 2025 Counselling revised merit list, or the list of qualifying candidates on July 15, 2025. As many as 19,823 candidates have been named in the list as against 19,809 candidates mentioned in the provisional merit list.

July 4, 2025. As many as 19,809 candidates have qualified for NEET 2025 from Assam. Only those candidates whose names are included in the provisional merit list are eligible to participate in the Assam NEET counselling 2025.

Assam NEET Counselling 2025 Special Quota Document Verification

Candidates belonging to the Special Quota have to visit the DME Assam office on July 18, 2025, for the document verification process, between 10 AM and 3 PM. The following table brings the quota-wise schedule for document verification.

Q:   What is the minimum rank required to get an MBBS seat through Assam NEET counselling?
A:

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 55,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Assam NEET.
