The Assam NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 seat allotment result has been declared by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam on August 18, 2025. As many as 3,122 candidates have been included in the list. However, some candidates have not been allotted seats due to the unavailability of choices.

The provisionally selected candidates have to visit the allotted institute between August 22 and August 23, 2025, to complete the admission process.

Candidates must note that the seat has been allotted at the provisional level and is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility and verification of documents. They have to visit the respective institutes with original documents and INR 25,000. The original documents must be submitted to the institutes on receipt of an acknowledgement from the institute authorities.

DME Assam released the Assam NEET 2025 Counselling revised merit list on July 15, 2025. A total of 19,823 candidates have been named in the list. On the other hand, 19,809 candidates were included in the provisional merit list. Originally, the result was scheduled for August 6, 2025, but it was postponed.

Q:   What is the minimum rank required to get an MBBS seat through Assam NEET counselling?
A:

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 55,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Assam NEET. 

Q:   When will the Assam NEET counselling 2025 commence?
A:

The Assam NEET 2025 Counselling Round 4 is being conducted from November 11 to November 20, 2025. Round 2 commenced on August 27, 2025, with the registration process. The second round will conclude on September 27, 2025. The Assam NEET 2025 counselling process began on July 24, 2025, a few days after the commencement of the counselling for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam announces the schedule for the Assam NEET UG counselling 2025 for each round separately. The Assam NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 seat allotment result date was postponed from August 6 to August 18, 2025, on account of the extension of the All India NEET 2025 counselling by MCC. The number of rounds may be extended based on the seat vacancies.
