As many as 2,714 candidates have been included in the list. However, some candidates have not been allotted seats due to the unavailability of choices.

The institute reporting process will be conducted from November 7 to November 8, 2025. The PWD category candidates have to report with the relevant original certificates at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on November 7, 2025, 10 AM. for the verification of their disability status.

Candidates must note that the seat has been allotted in provisional level and is subject to fulfilment of the eligibility and verification of documents. They have to visit the respective institutes with original documents and INR 25,000. The original documents must be submitted to the institutes on receipt of acknowledgment from the institute authorities.
Originally, the result was scheduled for October 27, 2025, which has been postponed twice, to November 1, 2025, and November 6, 2025.
DME is responsible for allocating seats in the Assam NEET UG counselling process. The DME tentatively allocated 900 for MBBS and 40 for BDS via the state counselling process across the medical and dental colleges in Assam State.
