Assam NEET PG Round 3 2025: The Directorate of Medical Education Guwahati has released the seat allotment result of Round 3 Assam NEET PG Counselling at the official website - dme.assam.gov.in.
The selected candidates can report to their allotted college from February 18 to February 19, 2026. A total of 751 candidates have been selected in round 3.
Seat allotment result is released in PDF format. The selected candidates including State Health Services Quota need to sign a registered agreement on INR 100 stamp paper within two weeks according to the Assam PG Medical admission rules 2021.
Assam counselling will be held for the following seat allotment - 100% seats in private colleges, 50% All India Quota seats, Central Universities, 50% State quota seats, and Deemed Universities.

Following documents are required for the round 3 at the centre -
- NEET PG Admit Card
- Copy of NEET PG result
- Secondary school leaving certificate for date of birth
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Photo ID card
- MBBS passing certificate

No. Candidates must qualify for NEET PG exam to participate in the Assam NEET PG counselling process. Apart from that, candidates must fulfill other eligibility criteria for the counselling process of Assam postgraduate medical courses.
Last year, Assam NEET PG counselling was held for allocation of around 652 MD/MS and Diploma seats. This year, the number of seats may vary. The actual number will be known once DME Assam releass the seat matrix. Assam NEET PG counselling 2025 dates and schedule were announced in September 2025.
Candidates should have qualified NEET PG with minimum cut off for Assam NEET PG counselling. The other eligibility criteria are given below:
Candidates must be the permanent resident of the State.
They should have an MBBS pass certificate from any college/institute/university affiliated with the Medical Council of India.
Candidates must have completed 1-year internship within the stipulated date as stated by NMC.
Candidates should have obtained a medical registration certificate from NMC or State Medical Council (SMC).
Seat allocated to students as per the state merit rank, available seats, candidate's choices, and reservation criterion. The candidates must report on time to complete the admissions process.
"Candidates who receive a new seat during the Assam NEET PG 2025 round 3 counselling will have to report to their newly allotted college with the acknowledgement receipts or documents proving they have submitted their certificates and testimonials from the previous college where they were admitted," says the notice.
