Delhi School of Economics Receives Record-Breaking Scholarships for MA Economics Students
Each student selected under the scholarship initiative will receive a monthly scholarship of INR 7,000, the highest ever awarded to MA Economics students across India.
Delhi School of Economics has received sponsored scholarships for 70 MA Economics students of the institute. The scholarship is a significant gesture by IDFC FIRST Bank in order to achieve academic excellence. Each student selected for the scholarship scheme will be entitled to receive a monthly scholarship of INR 7,000, which reportedly is among the highest amount of scholarship awarded to MA Economics students across India.
Prof. Rohini Somanathan, Head of the Economics Department at the University of Delhi; Dr. Manish Kumar, Executive Director of the Delhi School of Economics' Centre for Development Economics; and Prof. Ram Singh, Director of the Delhi School of Economics, were all at the ceremony.
This program highlights IDFC FIRST Bank's commitment to fostering academic achievement and improving young minds to achieve their goals. These exceptional youngsters will be able to succeed in their educational goals without financial constraints with the help of the IDFC FIRST Bank initiative to support students.

As per the latest news, the DSE exam form 2025 for regular and NCWEB students is ongoing till March 15, 2025. Students who are willing to appear for Semester II/IV/VI/VIII# of all Undergraduate quG) and Postgraduate (PG) Programmes can fill the online application form before 11:59 PM on March 15, 2025.
However, the authorities will allow students to fill the DSE exam form 2025 till March 31, 2025 (with late fee). Students who will complete the counselling registrtaion before the deadline will be able to download their hall ticket on March 26, 2025, onwards.

Delhi School of Economics awards various scholarships to students on the basis of merit and various other criteria decided by the college. The college provides A.N. Ram scholarship worth INR 1,200 per month. Some of the scholarships include Dr. Manmohan Singh Fellowship worth INR 5000 per month and a book grant of INR 7,500 per annum.
