For the first time, entry level certification (NABH) certificates were awarded to five Ayurveda hospitals in the country.

Five Ayurveda hospitals get entry level certification

In line with Prime Minister Modi's 'Heal in India, Heal by India' vision, for the first time, five Ayurveda hospitals get entry level certification.

Ministry of Ayush tweet reads, "To fulfil the dream of Prime minister @NarendraModi 'Heal in India, Heal by India', Secretary AYUSH Padmashree Vaidya at a program organized in New Delhi today.@vaidyakotecha For the first time, Entry Level Certification (NABH) certificates were awarded to five Ayurveda hospitals in the country by the Secretary AYUSH Padmashree Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha."

These Ayurveda hospitals are Perumbayil Ayurvedamana Hospital, Thrissur (Kerala), Arogya Healthcare Pvt Ltd Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Premaswaroop Swami Ayurvedic Multispecialty Hospital, Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Brahma Ayurveda Multi Specialty Hospital, Nadiad (Gujarat) and Sushruta Ayurved Hospital, Puttur (Karnataka).

PM Modi calls world leaders to explore India's traditional medicines

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Central government is pushing the Ayush related treatments through various initiatives and trying to position these treatments at the global level. During the second Global Covid summit in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called the world leaders to explore India's vast knowledge of traditional medicines & together help the world to combat future health emergencies.

Last month the establishment of the WHO's first ever Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar, Gujarat has been a significant step towards taking the traditional medicines to the global level in a scientific way. PM Modi had attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the first ever such centre along with the Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
