FMGE 2022: NMC invites online applications for Eligibility Certificate

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has invited the online applications for the Eligibility Certificate for appearing in the upcoming FMGE 2022 in December.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has commenced the submission of online applications for the Eligibility Certificate for appearing in FMGE 2022 tentatively scheduled for December 2022. 

The submission of the application started on June 15 and interested candidates can apply for the Eligibility Certificate by July 15, till 1 pm.

The official notification reads, "The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) Screening Test may be scheduled tentatively in the month of December 2022 by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Services. As per the requirements, the candidates who are required to have the eligibility certificate are not permitted to apply for Screening Test without Eligibility Certificate issued by the National Medical Commission."

"All candidates requiring Eligibility Certificate are requested to apply through National Medical Commission's website https://www.nmc.org.in/ActivitiWebClient/open/studentRaise," added the notification.

FMGE 2022 June session result to be announced on June 30

The results for FMGE 2022 June session will be announced on June 30 on NBE's official website in pdf format. Out of the total 300 marks, candidates will have to score the minimum 150 marks to qualify for the examination. Along with the results, FMGE 2022 cut-off scores will also be released. The qualified candidates will be able to download FMGE 2022 score card from NBE's official website by providing the login ID and password.

This year NMC has allowed the foreign medical graduates with incomplete internships due to war or pandemic situations to complete their remaining part of the internship in India subject to the condition that such candidates must have cleared FMGE.
