Galgotias University, GIMS Greater Noida Signs MoU for Joint Medical Research

The MoU between the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida and Galgotias University aims to support collaborative efforts in biomedical and pharmaceutical research, along with facilitating access to specialised infrastructure and faculty exchange.

Galgotias University and the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the betterment of medical research of the institutes. The collaboration between Galgotias University and the Government Institute of Medical Sciences aims to utilise animal house facilities for research and to attain advancement in medical and academic collaboration. 

The MoU between both institutions will further promote the biomedical and pharmaceutical research opportunities and the specialised infrastructure for students and faculty for global relevance in scientific studies.  

The Vice Chancellor of Galgotias University, Prof K Mallikarjunna Babu, shared his delight on collaborating with GIMS, saying, "The pact is a transformative milestone that lays the foundation for long-term cooperation and innovation within the vital domains of healthcare and medical research. This agreement represents our shared vision to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of science and healthcare innovation by leveraging each other’s strengths."

Meanwhile, the Director of GIMS Greater Noida has shared his insights on collaboration, saying that the MoU with Galgotias University will strengthen the research infrastructure and also aim to allow faculty and students to go through the cutting-edge biomedical studies aligned with global standards. 

The collaboration will enable students to gain theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the programme in order to attain a global standard of academics in biomedical studies.
