IP University Admission 2025: Registration for 40000+ Seats Begins on Feb 1, Know Details
IPU admission 2025 for vacant seats will be conducted based on CUET scores for over 40,000 seats in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level courses in the university.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will begin the admission process for academic session 2025-26 on February 1. Students who are willing to get admission in undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses can apply for admission to Indraprastha University admissions in online mode. The university is offering admissions for over 40,000 seats across 106 affiliated colleges and 18 universities in admission.
The IP Unversity 2025 online registration is ongoing for 46 master’s degree programmes, 40 PhD programmes, and 34 undergraduate degree programmes. Though the registration process is scheduled to begin on February 1, 2025, the classes will begin from August 1 onwards. It must be noted that only for the vacant seats, admission will be based on CUET scores in 20 undergraduate degree programmes and 18 postgraduate degree programmes.
IP University Admission 2025: New Programmes Introduced
IPU has announced several new courses for the academic session 2025 including an MSc in Molecular Diagnostics, an LLB for 3 years, an MSc in Microbiology, BPT, a PG programme in Applied Geoinformatics, and a PG Diploma in Radiological Physics.

Yes, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to BSc, BCA, BCom (Hons), B.Ed, BA (JMC), BHMCT, BBA, BA (Hons), BVoc, BPT, BPO, BOT, BASLP, BSc MLT, MSc, MA, MEd, MPT, MOT and MPO courses. IPU CET exam 2026 application forms for other courses, open tentatively in March every year. Apart from conducting IPU CET, GGSIPU also accepts several national-level entrance exams to provide admission to a few undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.

Based on JEE Main ranks, GGSIPU offers admission to various BTech courses. GGSIPU admission 2023 has been concluded with the release of Round 3 Seat Allotment Results of the counselling conducted by the university for the BTech course. Meanwhile, the authorities have announced that one seat in each programme will be reserved for single girl child candidates in university schools and a maximum of 2 per cent of intake in a particular programme will be filled under the sports quota in schools of the university.
IPU CET 2025 Schedule
The university will conduct the common entrance test (CET) between April 26 to May 18, 2-25. For MBA, CAT scores will be accepted while the CLAT scores will be accepted for LLB and LLM programmes. The counselling for these programmes will begin on May 1, 2025.
