JKPSC announces 708 Medical Officer vacancies; Apply at jkpsc.gov.in

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced the vacancies for 708 Medical Officer posts, interested candidates can apply at jkpsc.gov.in.

As many as 708 Medical Officer (MO) posts are vacant in Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC). Interested candidates can apply at the official website jkpsc.gov.in.

JKPSC has notified about the vacancies and invited online applications from MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) aspirants for the post of MO in the Health and Medical Education Department. The online applications started on December 20, 2021, and the last date to apply for the MO posts is January 19, 2022.

Editing to the online application will be allowed from January 22, 2022, to January 24, 2022, up to 11:59 PM and the tentative written examination date is March 06, 2022.

Eligibility and other details 

The candidates must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Freshers are welcomed for these posts and the job location will be the Health and Medical Education Department across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The salary range is between INR 52,700 to INR 1,66,700 per month.

The age limit of the candidates must not be more than 40 years as of January 1, 2021, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 42 years (PHD), and 43 years for aspirants belonging to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC/PSP/EWS categories.

To apply for the MO posts, the candidates are required to pay a prescribed amount of INR 1,000 for General and INR. 500 for Reserved categories.
