Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025: KEA Postpones Round 3 Allotment Date; Warns Students Not to Take Any Action
KEA has notified that, following the extension of MCC NEET round 2 counselling schedule 2025 due to the addition of more medical seats, the Karnataka UGNEET candidates are advised not to take any action till further notice.
Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has shared an important notification concerning to Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025. The authorities have announced the round 3 seat allotment result for UGCET 2025 candidates. Further, the authorities have notified the UGNEET 2025 candidates seeking admission in medical or dental undergraduate courses, urging them not to take any action till further notice.
As per the notification, KEA has notified that MCC has announced that the MCC NEET UG round 2 counselling process has been postponed because of the addition of more medical seats from NMC in the round 2 counselling process. Hence, Karnataka NEET counselling 2025 candidates seeking admission to medical and dental courses must avoid making any decision, as the change in MCC NEET counselling 2025 will impact the Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025 seat intake for round 2 and subsequent rounds of counselling.
"In the notification dated 09-09-2025, MCC, DGHS, New Delhi, has announced that the second round of counselling will be postponed due to the addition of more medical seats from NMC for the second round of admission to medical courses, UGNEET medical, Dental and AYUSH courses. Allotted candidates only are advised not to take any action till further notice." The official notification reads.
Now, the authorities are expected to announce the further counselling schedule and other related information on the official website soon. Students will be able to get the counselling dates and admission details at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
