The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra, the counselling authority of the state has released the important dates for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) or the counselling process for the MBBS and BDS courses.

How to Register for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2024
Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to register for Maharashtra NEET counselling 2024:
- Visit the official website of Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling or directly enter the link – https://medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024/registrationInstructions
- Click on the New Registration tab
- Read the instructions
- Enter the details such as NEET Roll Number, NEET Application Number, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email ID
- Enter the OTP received on mobile number and Email
- Click on Create Account
- Click on the Sign In tab
- Enter the Mobile Number or Email ID and password and click on the Login tab
- Enter the mandatory information such as personal and academic details, choose course and colleges
- Upload coloured scanned documents in not more than 300 KB file size in PDF
Pay the application fee in online mode and keep save the application confirmation page and take multiple printouts.

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 counselling has begun on July 23, 2025, with the registration process. Round 4, or the Online Stray Vacancy Round is being conducted from November 12 to November 17, 2025. Round 2 and Round 3 were conducted between August and October 2025. CET Cell Maharashtra will announce the dates of next rounds, if conducted.
A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 50,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Maharashtra NEET.
