Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling for the AYUSH courses, namely, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS for Round 2 is underway. The choice filling process, which commenced on September 30, 2024, is scheduled to end tomorrow, October 2, 2024, 11.59 PM.
The CET Cell Maharashtra released the provisional seat matrix and virtual vacancy for the Round 2 of Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling of the AYUSH courses. Candidates are advised to take a printout of the seat matrix and the virtual vacancies and select in advance the colleges and courses to opt for.

How to Fill Choices for Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling Round 2
Candidates have to follow the steps given below to fill and submit choices for Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 2.
- Visit the official website - https://medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024/login
- Enter mobile number/email id and password
- Click on ‘Login’ tab
- Click on the tab indicating choice filling
- Enter the choices and arrange them in preferential order
- Lock the choices and submit
Candidates must note that there is no additional fee involved for the Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling choice filling.
The selection list, or the seat allotment result for Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 of BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses will be declared on October 4, 2024. The institute reporting process will be conducted from October 5 to October 9, 2024, 6 PM. The last date to resign the Round 2 allotted seats with forfeiture of registration fee is October 13, 2024.

Q: Who conducts Maharashtra NEET counselling?
Maharashtra NEET counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The state counselling authority for Maharashtra conducts the admission process for various medical and paramedical courses offered in the state under the 85 per cent State Quota seats. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling.
Q: When will Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling be conducted?
The Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling dates have been announced for the CAP Rounds 2 and 3 for MBBS and BDS courses. While the second round was conducted from September 25 to October 6, 2024, the third round will be conducted from October 9 to October 23, 2024.
The Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling dates for Round 2 and 3 of AYUSH and Paramedical courses have also been announced, which are scheduled from September 27 to October 28, 2024.
The first round was conducted from August 17 to September 5, 2024. The registration process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTH, BASLP and B(P&O) courses was conducted from August 17 to August 24, 2024. As of now, DTE Maharashtra conducted the Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 for MBBS and BDS courses till September 5, 2024. On the other hand, the counselling procss for BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTH, BASLP and B(P&O) courses is being conducted from September 11 to September 18, 2024.
