Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2025 without APAAR ID has been permitted by the state Cell. However, students with APAAR ID are advised to fill the ID details in the Maharashtra NEET counselling 2025 registration form.

MBBS BDS Admission 2025 in Maharashtra: The State Common Entrance Cell (CET) Maharashtra has announced that the Maharashtra NEET counselling Registration 2025 without APAAR ID is permissible for candidates seeking admission to the MBBS, BDS courses in Maharashtra state. Further, the state CET Cell has also notified the economically weaker section (EWS) candidates to upload their certificates in the state format only. 

 The Maharashtra State CET Cell has clarified that providing an APAAR ID during the Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2025 registration is optional, not mandatory. This clarification comes after the CET Cell received multiple queries regarding the requirement of APAAR ID in the counselling application process for MBBS, BDS admission in the state. However, candidates who already have an APAAR ID are encouraged to provide it while filling out the NEET 2025 counselling form Maharashtra.

As per the official notification issued by the State CET Cell, candidates seeking reservation under the EWS category must present a valid EWS certificate at the time of admission. However, students from other reserved categories (like SC, ST, OBC) are not eligible for EWS quota benefits, even if they submit the certificate. Such candidates will automatically be moved to the open category during the preparation of the provisional Maharashtra NEET merit list 2025. The students must carefully check the eligibility criteria in order to secure a seat in UG medical/ dental programme in Maharashtra state.

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 counselling has begun on July 23, 2025, with the registration process. The seat allotment result was declared on August 13, 2025, and the institute reporting process was conducted from August 14 to August 22, 2025. Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling Round 2 for Group A, or MBBS and BDS courses, is scheduled from September 19 to September 29, 2025. The Maharashtra NEET 2025 Counselling for AYUSH and allied courses began on September 1, 2025. The dates for the first two rounds of these courses will conclude on October 11, 2025.

Registration for Maharashtra NEET counselling 2025 for Round 3 was conducted from October 6 to October 8, 2025. Round 1 began on July 23, 2025. The last date for registration was extended from July 30, 2025, to August 4, 2025, 11.59 PM. The registration fee had to be paid by August 5, 2025, 11.59 PM, and the documents had to be uploaded by the same date. The registration process for Maharashtra NEET counselling 2025 is completely online. Candidates must ensure that they fill up the application form with mandatory details and upload the requisite documents, and pay the application fee to complete the registration process successfully. For the Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling, the registration process is conducted for the first round only, and for subsequent rounds, candidates have to submit choices. 

Q: Β  What is the minimum rank required to get an MBBS seat through Maharashtra NEET counselling?
A:

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 50,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Maharashtra NEET.
