Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released Round-2 seat allotment result for Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2025. Candidates who appeared for second round of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) can now check their selection list and allotment status on its official website.

The Round-2 result has been announced as counselling schedule has already been notified by CET Cell.

As per the official timeline, the seat matrix for Round-2 was published on December 22, 2025, following which candidates were allowed to fill and lock their choices from December 22 to December 24, 2025. The seat allotment result for Round-2 has been declared on December 26, 2025.

Institute Reporting Dates for Round-2

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round-2 will have to report to their respective institutes from December 27 to December 30, 2025 to complete the admission process. Reporting within the given timeline is mandatory, failing which the allotted seat may be cancelled as per counselling rules.

Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 Merit List Details

Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 provisional merit list was released on November 25, 2025. Common Provisional Merit List includes 5,788 candidates.

Along with this, state CET Cell also released a separate merit list for In-Service candidates, which carries details of 202 candidates. The counselling authority has already published the complete schedule for the first two rounds of CAP.

Candidates can also download the Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 Round-1 counselling result from the official portal for reference. Students are advised to regularly check official website for other related updates related to counselling rounds and admission instructions.

Q:   I didn't score the minimum cut off for NEET PG. Will I eligible for NEET PG counselling?
A:

No. Candidates need the minimum cut off to qualify for NEET PG. It must be noted only those who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off score will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. 

Q:   If I will get seat in round-2 NEET PG counselling, will first round allotted seat get cancelled?
A:

Yes. If you will be allotted seat in round-2 NEET PG counselling, your round-1 allotted seat will be automatically get cancelled. In case you don't get allotted seat in round-2, then round-1 seat will not be cancelled. Candidates have to register online and declare preferences of choice for NEET PG counselling. It must be noted, MCC conducts counselling for allotment of 50% AIQ seats.

Q:   When did registration start for NEET PG 2025 round-3 counselling?
A:

MCC started registration for round 3 NEET PG 2025 counselling online. Registration for round-3 had to be done online. Choices for round-3 NEET PG counselling 2025 had to be declared online.
