The Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has launched new medical courses and initiatives during the 41st Foundation Day of the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

Mansukh Mandaviya launches new medical courses at 41st Foundation Day of NBE

While attending the event to celebrate the 41st Foundation Day of the National Board of Examinations (NBE), Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has launched new courses and initiatives to further strengthen medical education in India.

Dr Mansukh Mandaviya's tweet reads, "Launched new courses & initiatives to further strengthen the medical education in the country, at 41st Foundation Day of National Board of Examinations. Appreciated the efforts of NBE in providing trained manpower in the form of medical specialists to the country."

Eight initiatives inaugurated by Mansukh Mandaviya

A total of eight initiatives were inaugurated by Mansukh Mandaviya, out of which six are online and two are offline. Following are the online initiatives:

  • 14 new courses started for academic session 2022 
  • New web portal that has information in both English and Hindi
  • Communication web portal
  • Griviance redressal portal
  • The second line of the webinar to connect students
  • NBEMS employee management system

Two offline initiatives are two books launched by the minister.

About NBE

The government of India had established NBE in the year 1975 with the purpose of bringing uniformity in the evaluation of candidates for postgraduate courses in India. It is conducting body for nine examinations in India including Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test MDS (NEET MDS), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS), Post Diploma Common Entrance Test (PDCET), DNB CET (Super Speciality), DNB Dental Speciality, Fellowship Entrance Test (FET), and Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test (FDG ST).
