MoS inaugurates Centre of Incubation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Jamia Hamdard
Dr Subhas Sarkar, Union Minister of State for Education, has inaugurated the Centre of Incubation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Jamia Hamdard.
In the presence of several dignitaries, professors and students, Dr Subhas Sarkar, Union Minister of State for Education, has inaugurated the Centre of Incubation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Jamia Hamdard.
Ministry of Education tweet reads, "Today, Hon’ble MoS @Drsubhassarkar inaugurated the Centre of Incubation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the @jamia_hamdard in the presence of several dignitaries, professors, students and other distinguished guests."
Dr Subhas Sarkar also addressed the Valedictory Function of the six-month nursing training programme at the Hamdard Convention Centre of the institute.
While emphasising the significance of the nursing profession to society and humanity, he said that our government respects the vital role of nurses in nation building and improving the healthcare sector.
Ancient India immensely contributed to medicine
He said that Ancient India has significantly contributed to the world of education and medicine. Dr Subhas also asked the teachers to pay special attention to Indian Knowledge Systems and to teach this to students.
Speaking about National Education Policy 2020, he said the vision of the policy is to provide a resourceful, skilful & innovative education to all. He further added that it will prepare our children and youth to build a self-reliant, better India.
He congratulated the students and encouraged them to be creative, committed and determined toward their goals. He called them the torchbearers of the rich heritage of India where the vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam is followed.
