The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has withheld the ongoing admission process for the first round of the State Combined NEET PG Counselling 2026. The MP NEET PG 2026 counselling process has been withheld with immediate effect. According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Commissioner, Medical Education of Bhopal, candidates who were successfully allotted PG medical seats in the MP NEET PG round 1 counselling process will have their physical reporting and admission steps paused until further notice.

Why MP NEET PG 2026 Counselling Process Put on Hold?

The notification states that the withholding of the counselling process is a direct result of an interim order passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur Bench. The court order was delivered on November 2, 2026, in relation to Writ Petition (W.P.) No. 44909/2026, filed by Dr. Sarvjeet Singh and Another Versus the State of Madhya Pradesh and Another. Because of this legal proceeding, all reporting, document verification, and seat-securing processes under the MP NEET PG 2026 round 1 counselling process have been temporarily withheld across state-allotted medical colleges.
