Muthoot Finance launches ₹3.36 crore higher education scholarship scheme

Application form are open until November 30, 2025, recipients will be selected based on their academic performance and financial need.

Muthoot Finance has announced ninth edition of its Muthoot M George Higher Education Scholarship for 2025–26 academic year. This scheme will support 210 meritorious students who have secured admission in courses such as MBBS, BTech, and BSc Nursing.

Muthoot has set aside a total of ₹3.36 crore under this initiative to promote education among deserving students from economically weaker backgrounds.

MBBS students will receive ₹2.4 lakh each, while those pursuing BTech or BSc Nursing courses will be awarded ₹1.2 lakh each. To qualify, students should have scored at least 90 per cent marks in their Class 12 exams and should come from families with an annual income below ₹2 lakh.

Scholarship is open to students from cities like Kochi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and regions of Kerala. Application form are open until November 30, 2025, recipients will be selected based on their academic performance and financial need.

Muthoot Finance in a statement stated that scholarship is aimed at empowering high performing students who often struggle to afford cost of professional education.
