NBE releases FMGE 2021 admit card; exam guidelines
NBE has released FMGE admit card 2021 for the June session. It has also released covid-19 guidelines for FMGE 2021 exam which is scheduled to be held on June 18, 2021. Read to know more.
The National Board of Examinations(NBE) has released FMGE 2021 admit card for the June session. The admit card for FMGE 2021 exam has been released online, In an official notification, NBE said that admit card for FMGE 2021 exam are live on its official website.
Candidates who registered successfully can download through registration id and password. NBE has also released guidelines to conduct FMGE 2021 exam with covid-19 appropriate behaviour. FMGE 2021 admit card will have covid-19 e pass so that candidates wonβt face issue in travelling to the exam centres.
FMGE 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on June 18, 2021. As covid-19 cases have been decreasing across the country, NBE has decided not to defer this exam and to conduct it with extra precautionary measures, the notification said.
βTimely conduct of this examination will enable the foreign medical graduates who are successful, to get registered with state medical councils and contribute in the fight against COVID-19 as registered medical practitioners,β it said.
FMGE 2021 exam Guidelines
Social Distancing: NBE said that total number of test centres and seats have been increased in order to minimise the travel needs of the candidates and reduce the number of candidates in one centre.
COVID e pass: FMGE 2021 admit card will bear a covid e pass which will facilitate movement of the candidates in case of any travel related restrictions.
Staggered entry: There is a provision of staggered entry at FMGE 2021 exam centres. to avoid crowding at the test venue entry. Candidates have been communicated individually through emails and SMS about staggered time slot.
COVID-19 test report: Candidates will have to bring and submit negative report of COVID-19 RT-PCR/RAT/CBNAAT/TrueNAT test done within 72 hours prior to the examination date (not earlier than 15th June 2021). NBE has made it mandatory for those appearing for the exam.
Isolation labs: Temperature of candidates with covid negative report will also be checked at the entry point through thermo guns. Those with above normal temperature will be allowed to take the examination at isolation labs.
Face mask compulsory: Wearing face mask is compulsory. Candidates will not be permitted to enter at test centres without appropriate protective face mask.
Staggered exit of candidates: After the examination, candidates will be allowed to leave the centre in a staggered manner which will be communicated by the respective centre in-charges in order to avoid crowding at the test venue exit.
FMGE 2021 is a mandatory entrance exam for those who are planning to practice medicine in India. Candidates could register themselves with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council(SMC) only after the clearance of FMGE 2021 exam. FMGE 2021 exam is held twice a year, in December and June.
