NEET 2022: JKBOPEE releases provisional list for MBBS admission under NRI quota

JKBOPEE has released the provisional selection list of candidates who have been selected for the MBBS course against the NRI seats of ASCOMS, Jammu.

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced the provisional selection list of candidates who have been selected for the MBBS course against the NRI seats of ASCOMS, Jammu.

The physical round of counselling was held on December 1, 2022, at BOPEE Office Srinagar/Jammu for admission to the MBBS course in ASCOMS, Jammu under NRI Quota. 

The provisionally selected candidates are directed to report to ASCOMS, Jammu from December 2, 2022, to December 6, 2022, till 4 pm with the following documents - date of birth certificate, marks card of 10+2, domicile certificate of UT of J&K, all NRI documents in original and scanned copies of passport and driving license of the sponsor and any other certificate/document as may be required by the college authorities.

"The ASCOMS shall keep its admission counter open even on holidays/off days to facilitate the candidates in completion of their admissions. However, the candidates should in their own interest avoid waiting for the last day to complete the admission formalities as the such delay has the potential of causing hardships to the candidates only," reads the JKBOPEE statement.

The admission of the candidates is purely provisional and shall be cancelled in case any information furnished by any candidate proves to be false/fabricated, and action, as warranted under law, shall be initiated against the such candidate(s).

The eligibility under NRI shall be subject to such other conditions as may be notified by the Competent Regulatory Body, Government of India/UT Government of J&K and such orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court applicable on the subject, added JKBOPEE statement.
