NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Registration Begins Today; Round 1 Seat Resignation Underway @mcc.nic.in

NEET counselling 2025 round 2 registration process will be ongoing till August 26, 2025, for NEET UG qualified candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS courses at 15% AIQ seats. Meanwhile, the NEET UG round 1 seat resignation process is underway till 5 PM on August 25, 2025, without forfeiture of the security deposit.
NEET Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is conducting NEET UG counselling 2025 for candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses at 15% reserved All India Quota (AIQ) seats across India. Students who have qualified the NEET UG exam 2025 are eligible to participate in the counselling process conducted by MCC in order to get admission to their preferred UG medical or dental programme across India.
As per the latest update, MCC will begin the NEET UG 2025 round 2 counselling registration from today, i.e. August 21, 2025. Students who have not participated in the round 1 counselling process have to fill the NEET UG 2025 counselling registration form 2025 for round 2 from the MCC official website, i.e. mcc.nic.in.
Moreover, the authorities have started the NEET UG counselling 2025 round 1 seat resignation process 2025 today. Students who wish to vacate their allotted seat by leaving their round 1 reported seat before 5 PM on August 25, 2025, without forfeiture of security deposit.

Steps for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 2 Registration
Candidates applying for Round 2 of MCC NEET Counselling 2025 can register by following these steps:
1. Go to the official MCC website โ mcc.nic.in
2. Click on the UG medical link available on the screen
2. Next, click on the NEET UG New Registration link 2025 available on the screens
3. Log in using your roll number and password.
4. Complete NEET counselling registration 2025 by providing the necessary details and uploading the required documents.
5. Pay the NEET UG counselling registration fee 2025 in online mode.
6. Submit the NEET counselling form 2025 and save/print a copy of the confirmation for future reference.

No, candidates need not report or join the allotted college of NEET counselling Round 1 since there is free exit. However if they want to retain the Round 1 seat and upgrade in Round 2 they have to physically join the college of Round 1 and give up-gradation willingness for Round 2 at the time of admission.
