NEET MDS 2025 Cutoff has been revised by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The qualifying percentile has been reduced by 19.863 percentile for each category. Announcing the notification, NBEMS has stated, “In accordance with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India letter No. NO.V.12025/84/2024-DE dated 10th August 2025, the minimum qualifying percentiles have been lowered by 19.863 percentile for each category (General, SC/ST/OBC, and UR-PWD), in pursuance of the DCI’s MDS Regulations, 2017 and the 2nd proviso in clause 7(1) of DCI's Master of Dental Surgery Course (1st Amendment) Regulations, 2018.”

The NEET MDS 2025 Rank List released on May 15, 2025, will remain unchanged. The NEET MDS 2025 Counselling process is underway and as of now, three rounds have been conducted. The fourth and final round is scheduled to begin on August 19, 2025.
NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the NEET MDS exam conducting authority, releases the cutoff scores or the qualifying scores along with the result. The NEET MDS 2025 result was released on May 15, 2025. The NEET MDS 2025 cutoff was also released on the same date. However, on August 14, 2025, NBE released a notice stating the reduction of the NEET MDS 2025 cutoff percentile by 19.863 percentile for all categories, as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare recommendation.
