NEET PG 2023: Supreme Court’s hearing; deadline to edit application and other updates

Supreme Court is likely to hear petition regarding NEET PG 2023 postponement on Monday, February 20. Candidates must note that February 20 is also the last date to rectify images in the application form for NEET PG 2023. The exam is scheduled on March 5 and the admit card will be released on February 27.

NEET PG 2023 exam: Despite Health Minister’s announcement, doctors continue protest demanding postponement of NEET PG 2023 exam. Disappointed with government’s decision of not to postpone the exam giving reason to restore the schedule, doctors filed cases in different courts. While Telangana high Court refused to interfere the decision, the Supreme Court will give ear to the plea. Reportedly the Apex Court will hear the petition of exam postponement most likley this week. Unconfirmed reports say hearing could be on Monday or Tuesday but no official confirmation of the same.

All eyes are on the top court to give decision to postpone NEET PG 2023 exam by at least few weeks. Candidates are also planning to approach Prime Minister's Office again for the postponemnet. "We have planned for a joint representation of all major organisations to be sent to @PMOIndia for Postponement," Dr Rohan Krishnan, FIAMA President tweeted.

It must be noted that exam is scheduled to be on March 5 which means candidates have only 15 days time to give their best shot. Experts advise candidates to continue preparation for NEET PG 2023 exam considering its original date in mind.

• There is no official updates regarding NEET PG 2023 postponement yet

• Union Health Minister on February 10 had rejected the idea sating that government has to bring back normalcy in the delayed session

• On request of candidates, NBE had reopened the registration window after it extended the internship deadline till August 11.

• Recently, Telangana High Court had requested National Medical Commission to consider NEET PG 2023 postponement and give decision in two weeks

NEET PG 2023 application form final edit window

Candidates who have not uploaded images in NEET PG 2023 application as per the format specified by NBE, need to hurry up as Monday, February 20 is the last date. NEET PG 2023 correction window will be remain open only till 11: 55 pm. The list of candidates who have to rectify images have been already released online. Through the correction window, candidates can rectify incorrect images such as photograph, signature and thumb impression uploaded with NEET P 2023 application form. It must be noted only those who had registered successfully for NEET PG 2023 can avail correction facility.

“Uploading images in the application form which are not in accordance with the guidelines prescribed or failure to rectify the images in the edit window/final edit window shall invite rejection of application. No further opportunity may be extended to rectify the incorrect imgaes,” the official released dated February 17 said.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) will upload the admit card on February 27. NEET PG 2023 admit card will be uploaded online for candidates who applied successfully for the exam. Candidates will have to download NEET PG 2023 admit card from the official website once the link gets activated by NBE. The admit card can be downloaded by providing login ID and password.
