NEET PG Counselling 2024: GMCH 32 to Begin Round 3 Counselling Process; Know Details

NEET PG 2024 counselling process for the All India Quota has already been completed, and students allotted a seat have already taken admission in their respective institutes. 

The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Sector 32 is going to begin the NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling process. The counselling process for admission to PG medical courses was put on hold. The counselling process for round 3 admissions was put on hold following the Supreme Court verdict on January 29 barring domicile-based reservations in postgraduate medical admission under the state quota. 

Finally, the GMCH 32 NEET PG round 3 counselling process has been initiated for state quota PG medical seats for programmes such as MD/ MS. The counselling process will be conducted in compliance with the recent judgment of the Apex court and guidelines administered by Chandigarh Administration. Where All India NEET PG 2024 counselling process already ended a long time ago, GMCH-32 NEET PG counselling process for round 3 admissions are underway, as reported by Indian Express. 

Reportedly, Prof A K Attri, Director of GMCH-32, has issued a notice stating that all remaining UT quota seats for PG medical courses will be filled through the institutional preference pool (IP), and admissions will be conducted based on the NEET PG 2024 ranks of candidates. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to register till April 14 following the reduction in the NEET PG qualifying percentile. A total of 35 seats are available for the round 3 GMCH-32 NEET PG counselling process.
