NEET PG 2024 resignation for Round-1 & Round-2 seats with forfeiture of security deposit has been extended till January 4, 2025, up to 6 PM by all interested and eligible candidates. 

NEET PG Counselling 2024

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the resignation last date for students who have been allotted a seat during the round 1 or round 2 counselling process. Students who wish to resign their allotted seat can now complete the resignation process by January 4, 2025 up to 6 PM. However, students are suggested not to wait for NEET PG 2024 seat resignation last date and complete the needful at the earliest possible.  

As per the latest turn of events, MCC will release the NEET PG round 3 seat allotment result 2024 on January 4, 2025. Students who have participated in the round 3 counselling process, will be able to check their allocation status through the NEET PG 2024 seat allocation pdf. Further, the students will have to complete the admission formalities between January 6 to 13, 2025 in order to secure their allotted seats.

NEET PG Counselling 2024: Resignation Guidelines

Interested candidates can check the resignation guidelines below:

  • Students will have to visit the designated college to resign their seats.
  • Candidates who got exalted in the round 2 process and received the upgraded seat but wish to resign from their seat can also leave their allotted seat
  • Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round 2 but now wish to resign can vacate their allotted seat with forfeiture of the security deposit.
  •  Candidates have to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online by the allotted college.
